Derbyshire

Claire and Adam

Really excited to see the wedding photographs today of a beautiful wedding at the West Mills wedding venue in Derbyshire, that we were privileged to be a part of back in May.

The Bride and Groom chose us as their wedding florist for their Derbyshire wedding, and we are so pleased that they did! Gorgeous blush pink Roses, dreamy Peonies and stocks featured heavily throughout the day, along with lots of trendy Pantone2017 inspired foliage.

We also loved creating their ceremony backdrop, for their industrial styled wedding, which was a perfect frame for the ceremony. The West Mills staff are absolutely brilliant, as they then moved it to the reception as a top table backdrop.

Here are some of the images kindly supplied by Gareth Newstead.

Wedding flowers at Tissington Church

JB-421.jpg

We were delighted to provide the wedding flowers at Tissington Church.

When we first met with Vicki, we clicked straight away and Vicki shared the same excitement as us for wedding flowers! Vicki had fabulous ideas, and from the start, knew she wanted vibrancy and colour within her wedding flowers, we knew it was going to be a very beautiful wedding.

We discussed the use of bright and vibrant flowers, particularly to compliment Vicki's gorgeous pink hair! The flowers used included coral "Miss Piggy" Roses, pink Hydrangeas, bright blue Delphiniums to compliment the bridesmaid dresses, yellow craspedia, amazing pink Gloriosa Lilies, green Dianthus with minimal ivory and pink Astilbe to soften.

We were thrilled when Vicki decided to decorate the archway at Bentley Brook with the same vibrant flowers as used to decorate the rest of the venue. We also filled huge milk churns for Tissington Church, which were then moved over to Bentley Brook after the ceremony.

Milk churns were also filled with the same flowers to decorate the tables at the venue, as well as the Grooms bikers helmet and boots!

Vicki's fabulous Jimmy Choo shoes really added to the gorgeous colour, picture below!

Thank you to Becki at Red Square photography for the fabulous images.

Wedding flowers at Stancliffe Hall, Matlock, Derbyshire

We were delighted to provide the wedding flowers at Stancliffe Hall,  Matlock, Derbyshire for the autumnal wedding of Cheryl and Andy.

We initially met with Cheryl and Andy alongside Joy from Unique wedding planning to discuss the look and feel they wanted to achieve for their Wedding flowers at Stancliffe Hall, Matlock, Derbyshire. They wanted a relaxed, fun day with gorgeous and muted flowers.

We discussed the use of muted pinks, peaches and creams for the relaxed and informal feel that Cheryl and Andy wanted to achieve with their wedding flowers. This included our all time favourite cream Hydrangeas, soft pink Roses, peach Roses, Bombastic spray roses and delicate pittosporum.

Stancliffe Hall is a fabulous, luxurious wedding venue in Derbyshire, and has been lovingly restored and maintained by the current owners. The venue used to be a private school in Matlock, and the chapel is simply amazing.

The cake was designed by our friends at Love Candy Cakes in Chesterfield. Candy always creates delicious cakes that almost look too good to eat! This particular cake was a very fashionable and yummy naked cake, which smelt absolutely delightful as we decorated the tiers with fresh flowers.

The stunning images are by Emma White Photography and we hope you enjoy perusing them as much as we did.

We worked alongside Michele Glehill venue stylist, who created the venue flowers. We worked together to ensure that venue flowers matched the bridal party flowers using the same varieties of Roses and foliage.
