Francesca and Jonathan

We were so honoured to create the beautiful wedding flowers in Derbyshire for Fran and Jonathan last Spring time.

Fran really wanted Lily of the Valley for sentimental reasons, which worked stunning with her Peonys against her gorgeous bridal gown.

We asked Fran for feedback following her experience with Tineke, and this is what she said - made our day!

Flowers were probably one of if not the most important thing to me as a bride. I had a very clear image of what I wanted but also the meaning behind some of the flowers - such as having lily of the valley a favourite of my grandma who had passed away.

How did you come across Tineke?  Through (friendly) stalking of Instagram and Facebook. Looking at both friends of friends weddings, Derbyshire weddings etc.  I kept seeing what turned out to be Tineke flowers and kept messaging people or following the tags to find out who had done the wedding flowers. As each time no matter what colour or time of year they were stunning.

Why did you book Tineke? Honestly - it was on first impression - from the first email message to meeting Kerry and team in her studio, seeing wedding flowers in production that very day and just getting a really good feeling from the ideas Kerry had. That initial meeting was very important as Kerry listened, proposed ideas, wrote everything down and really made me feel comfortable. I had met another florist previously and her meeting room was full of fake flowers which really put me off!

How did you find your experience with Tineke? Excellent - so much so I recommended to my best friend Vikki who also used for her wedding.

Is there anything that you would change? I would have taken/got the photographers to take lots more photos of the flowers. I wish I had also preserved my wedding bouquet or asked how to do it!

Really excited to see the wedding photographs today of a beautiful wedding at the West Mills wedding venue in Derbyshire, that we were privileged to be a part of back in May.

The Bride and Groom chose us as their wedding florist for their Derbyshire wedding, and we are so pleased that they did! Gorgeous blush pink Roses, dreamy Peonies and stocks featured heavily throughout the day, along with lots of trendy Pantone2017 inspired foliage.

We also loved creating their ceremony backdrop, for their industrial styled wedding, which was a perfect frame for the ceremony. The West Mills staff are absolutely brilliant, as they then moved it to the reception as a top table backdrop.

Here are some of the images kindly supplied by Gareth Newstead.

We were thrilled to be a part of S & C's big day, which took place at a gorgeous venue called Amalfi White.

Our couple chose creams and blush pinks complemented with greys and silvery green foliages.

Flowers included Hydrangeas, Roses, Spray Roses, Eucalypus, Brunia. Thank you so much to Emma Cleveley who took the wedding photographs.

Wedding flowers at Tissington Church

JB-421.jpg

We were delighted to provide the wedding flowers at Tissington Church.

When we first met with Vicki, we clicked straight away and Vicki shared the same excitement as us for wedding flowers! Vicki had fabulous ideas, and from the start, knew she wanted vibrancy and colour within her wedding flowers, we knew it was going to be a very beautiful wedding.

We discussed the use of bright and vibrant flowers, particularly to compliment Vicki's gorgeous pink hair! The flowers used included coral "Miss Piggy" Roses, pink Hydrangeas, bright blue Delphiniums to compliment the bridesmaid dresses, yellow craspedia, amazing pink Gloriosa Lilies, green Dianthus with minimal ivory and pink Astilbe to soften.

We were thrilled when Vicki decided to decorate the archway at Bentley Brook with the same vibrant flowers as used to decorate the rest of the venue. We also filled huge milk churns for Tissington Church, which were then moved over to Bentley Brook after the ceremony.

Milk churns were also filled with the same flowers to decorate the tables at the venue, as well as the Grooms bikers helmet and boots!

Vicki's fabulous Jimmy Choo shoes really added to the gorgeous colour, picture below!

Thank you to Becki at Red Square photography for the fabulous images.
