Your Derbyshire Wedding Florist
We loved working on the beautiful wedding flowers for Angela and Jordan who were married at the West Mills at Darley Abbey.
The Bride chose a beautiful selection of Proteas, Ranunculus, amaranthus, Thisles and Gypsophilia in rich jewel like colours, to complement their rich coloured bridesmaid dresses.

We really enjoyed creating the seasonal winter wedding flowers for Hannah and Keith, who recently married at Swancar Farm, Nottingham.
We have gotten to know Hannah over the last 2 years or so, as she worked alongside Astra at Timeless Couture who designed and created her beautiful wedding dress. We feel very lucky to share our Derbyshire space with such a talented designer as Astra!
Hannah chose muted pink Roses, grey foliages, white ranunculus, various Eucalyptus's, Genista and cream Hydrangeas and our gold candleabras to complete her glamorous winter wedding look. We also adored the flower crowns worn by her 5 gorgeous bridesmaids (2 of which are also Tineke brides!)
Thank you to Chris Snowden for the amazing photographs.
Interested in the same lovely experience? Then why not book a joint appointment at our Derbyshire studio with both multi award winning florist and dress designer?
We loved working on this couples Summer weekend wedding at Shiningford Farm, where we created rustic inspired wedding flowers.
The bride and groom chose Daisies, astilbe, lisianthus, craspedia, stocks, lavender, love in a mist for their bridal party flowers, and these themed throughout the venue decor and for the buttonholes and corsages.
Their beautiful wedding was featured on http://www.rockmywedding.co.uk/leah-mike/ also, which shows more inspiration and an insight into their day, if you are looking at other inspiration as well as flowers!
Thank you so much to Ben and Hannah at HBA Photography for allowing us to use these images.

We loved creating the meadow themed wedding flowers for Jo and Glenn for their summer wedding in Derbyshire.
Our bride chose a collection of meadow like flowers including daisies, garden roses, delphiniums, lavender, Lisianthus, Nigellas, Thlaspi, Veronicas and Scabious in pastel shades.
We especially loved creating the mini gardens for the guest tables, within wheatgrass!
Beautiful images by Camera Hannah.

What to expect from a bespoke Tineke Flower Appointment.
Congratulations, you've just been proposed to (or maybe even proposed yourself)?! You're excited, you're nervous...the anticipation, but oh god...the planning, the prepping, the appointments!
Well, here at Tineke, we have put together a little step by step guide if you will. To ease you into the process of booking and attending an appointment with a multi award winning florist.
Your journey starts with knowing a little bit about us, Tineke. With at least 20 years experience, multiple awards won throughout the years and celebrity clients to boost, Tineke can illustrate a 2 year waiting list. (But of course we will always try to accommodate any last minute couples, if possible).
Most of our to be brides and grooms firstly enquire through out website, Tineke Facebook page or by phone, where we will also inform you of our availability. Because most to be brides and grooms already know their wedding date, as the venue is usually the initial booking. They will secure their preferred date with a £150 deposit even before an initial meeting. Based solely on Tineke's reputation, although this is not compulsory at this stage.
At your booked initial wedding flower appointment, we will have a fantastically informal chat regarding what you are wanting from your wedding and it's overall 'feel'. Here we will also inform you of what flowers are in season for the time of year that your wedding is to take place.
Once we have determined a look at your initial wedding flower appointment and you are entirely happy with the flowers you have chosen for your wedding. You can walk away entirely happy and confident with the knowledge that Tineke will work towards your bespoke floral designs, to achieve only the best for yourself and your wedding.
A final discussion is arranged 8 weeks prior to your wedding date. At this point we will finalise all the finer details for your wedding flowers and make any necessary amendments to avoid any complications that may arise.
Here at Tineke, we eliminate the stress from booking your wedding flowers with us. Our customer service experience is paramount to every bride to be and groom and we ask you to enquire, if there is anything we have left unanswered.
Some FAQs from our recent brides:
"What is the approximate waiting time for an initial meeting currently?"
At Tineke we never really have many down times, but our most busiest periods are New Year, Summer and late in the year. We of course will try to work around our bride and groom to be's schedules, and book an initial appointment ASAP, but as a general rule of thumb we try to see you with 4 weeks of initial contact.
"How much will my wedding flowers cost approximately?"
We boast a completely bespoke service and with that, we could not possibly estimate a price for your flowers without discussing in depth your requirements. But with a £150 deposit, you can secure your preferred date to ensure your date is not booked up by another bride to be.
"I love the idea that my wedding flowers will be bespoke, can you recommend a bespoke wedding dress maker?"
Indeed we can, at the end of 2015 we moved into out new premises in Derbyshire. Along side a fantastic bespoke couture wedding dress designer. We cannot recommend Timeless Couture enough, and highly commend her individual designs and work.
We were delighted to provide the wedding flowers at Osmaston Park marquee reception, near Ashbourne, Derbyshire for the summer wedding of Sarah and Tom.
When we first met with Sarah and Tom, to discuss her Wedding flowers at Osmaston Park, we fell in love with her ideas straight away, Sarah was very interested in flowers and had a lot of knowledge which was fantastic, as she knew exactly what she wanted to create. Sarah wanted her bouquet to look as though it had just been picked from the garden, and we think it suited her wedding dress, Grooms suit and wedding perfectly.
We discussed the use of greens, creams and hints of smoky purple flowers. The flowers used included Thlaspi, “clea june” lilac Veronicas, white scented stocks, pale pink/white/pink Astrantia, poppy heads, alchemillia, cow parsley (ammi), rosemary, white love in mist (nigella), white and lilac scabious, cinerea eucalyptus, and herbs finished with twine and brides lace from her wedding dress.
At the venue, we filled the brides various designed jugs with flowers to compliment the bridal flowers, we loved the use of branches to hold the tables numbers!
We also filled milk churns for the entrance to the marquee, which works very well for this lovely, rural setting.
Thank you to Matt at Matt Brown Photography, who's images we absolutely love here at Tineke!
We were delighted to provide the wedding flowers at Tissington Church.
When we first met with Vicki, we clicked straight away and Vicki shared the same excitement as us for wedding flowers! Vicki had fabulous ideas, and from the start, knew she wanted vibrancy and colour within her wedding flowers, we knew it was going to be a very beautiful wedding.
We discussed the use of bright and vibrant flowers, particularly to compliment Vicki's gorgeous pink hair! The flowers used included coral "Miss Piggy" Roses, pink Hydrangeas, bright blue Delphiniums to compliment the bridesmaid dresses, yellow craspedia, amazing pink Gloriosa Lilies, green Dianthus with minimal ivory and pink Astilbe to soften.
We were thrilled when Vicki decided to decorate the archway at Bentley Brook with the same vibrant flowers as used to decorate the rest of the venue. We also filled huge milk churns for Tissington Church, which were then moved over to Bentley Brook after the ceremony.
Milk churns were also filled with the same flowers to decorate the tables at the venue, as well as the Grooms bikers helmet and boots!
Vicki's fabulous Jimmy Choo shoes really added to the gorgeous colour, picture below!
Thank you to Becki at Red Square photography for the fabulous images.
A beautiful and stylish wedding in Wales that we had the pleasure of providing the wedding flowers for back in June. The bride and groom chose a combination of hydrangeas and peonies in creams and greens to go with their black bridesmaids dresses. June is a perfect time of year for Peonies, and they looked and smelt amazing! We love to get peonies at different stages of opening to create different textures and design.
The bride and groom chose tall vase arrangements of hydrangeas and alternated with fishbowls filled with flowers to compliment the wedding. We used heart jam jars at the church on the pew ends and filled these with peonies and hydrangeas too.
The wedding was held in Brecon, Kerry & Andy set off Friday evening with a van jam packed full of gorgeous green and white Hydrangeas and dreamy peonies to Wales in order to produce most of the flowers on site.
THE dress was from our gorgeous friends at Gracie Bleu Bridal and suited Lucy perfectly.
Looking at the images by the amazing Aga Tomaszek, you can just feel the emotion of the day which was felt by us setting the wedding venue and church on the day.
There were lots of lovely personal touches including handmade wedding stationary and homemade wedding cakes by the bride herself.
Hope you are all well and have enjoyed this lovely summer we have been lucky enough to have. Over the last few years creating wedding flowers, I would say we have had some very lucky brides this year with the weather. Today we bring to you a stunningly, beautiful wedding at Stapleford Park last month. Natalia and Andy chose gorgeous pastel shades to go with the lace bridal dress and pale pink bridesmaid dresses.
What has happened to the sun?! I must admit, we are a little pleased for our wonderful flowers who are currently enjoying the cooler climate! I was so chuffed to receive lovely comments from both the Groom and the Bride's mother after the wedding saying how pleased they were with everything, here is a little snippet:
...We would just like to thank you for the lovely job you did with the flowers. They looked stunning and complimented the dresses and the room wonderfully.....We can’t recommend you enough and if we hear of anyone wanting brilliant flowers in the future – we certainly will point them your way....
Lauren and Stefan were married at church and held their reception at Shottle Hall in Derbyshire. Hope you enjoy their pictures by Wings photography as much as we did. Lauren looked absolutely amazing and we loved the coral bridesmaid dresses - Stefan scrubbed up well too!

Hope you are enjoying this little glimmer of sunshine!Today, we bring to you a very special wedding as the Bride is one of Kerry's best friends, and Kerry was also bridesmaid, as well as the flower sheriff for the day! It was such a lovely change to be involved with the wedding from start to finish. The wonderful Becky and Neil of Butterworth photography captured the day beautifully and were brilliant on the day. It was also great to see Phil at Lafbery cars chauffeuring some of the bridesmaids to the wedding and also DJ Ferret of Promo disco services who made sure the dance floor was always full. Rose from Pink Cake Box created a lovely cake complete with figures of the Bride, Groom, Flowergirl and Jane's special horse! Hope you enjoy these images! Congratulations Jane and Jonathan, we love you both lots! If you would like further information about wedding flowers click here or call 01335 370 700 for availability. Bouquets can be ordered here 24/7 designed by Tineke.
Good afternoon, we are looking forward to creating lots more beautiful weddings this year and it's always lovely to develop such a wonderful relationship with our brides and grooms. We were thrilled to receive images from the beautiful Jennifer who married last September at the Old Hall Hotel in Buxton, we really enjoyed working with her gorgeous ideas alongside her Mum. We created floral designs using vintage pink, ivory and lilac Roses, Hydrangeas and sage green foliage to compliment the stunning bridesmaid dresses.
Here's what Jennifer said about Tineke:
We were blown away by the flowers at the church and the venue, and people are still talking about them today saying how incredibly beautiful they looked and asking who did them for us, even the owner and the staff at The Old Hall Hotel in Buxton said that they had never seen the Restaurant look so beautiful, and the owner had her own wedding there! As well as the fact that they have weddings all week long.
Tineke were just incredible from start to finish, so helpful and informative, even down to sending me images of flowers or foliage types if I had forgotten what they looked like or changed my mind! Our flowers couldn’t have been any more perfect. Would absolutely recommend!
